Max Montana v Aaron Luthor 26/11/24

An Outside Interference

IWRA Storm continued its action-packed night with a clash between Aaron Luthor and Max Montana, two competitors eager to establish dominance beyond their tag team success. Luthor, one half of the Tag Team Champions alongside James “Reaper” Reaves, looked to make a statement in the singles division. Across the ring, Max Montana, accompanied by his partner Leon Graves, sought to show that he could thrive outside of their tag team as well.

With both men bringing their tag partners to ringside, the match promised to be as chaotic as it was competitive.

Aaron Luthor Starts Strong

Known for his resilience and hardcore toughness, Aaron Luthor wasted no time in asserting himself. From the opening bell, Luthor took control of the match, tossing Max Montana around the ring with ease. Luthor’s raw power was on full display as he followed up with a series of brutal stomps, keeping Montana grounded.

The early dominance by Luthor sent a clear message: he wasn’t just a tag team specialist—he was a force to be reckoned with in singles competition as well.

Max Montana Fights Back

Despite the onslaught, Max Montana isn’t one to stay down for long. Seizing an opportunity, Montana reversed one of Luthor’s moves and planted him face-first into the mat. The tide seemed to turn in Montana’s favour as he mounted a brief offensive, but his momentum was short-lived.

Luthor, ever the brawler, absorbed the punishment and retaliated with a devastating spear, sending Max crashing to the canvas. The impact shook the ring as Luthor immediately went for a pin attempt, but Montana showed his own resilience by kicking out at two.

Chaos at Ringside

As the match intensified, tempers flared outside the ring. Leon Graves, looking to shift the momentum in his partner’s favour, grabbed Luthor’s ankle as he attempted a clothesline. The interference didn’t go unnoticed by referee John Cole, who had already endured a rough night after being punched by the force that is Brandon Colt earlier.

Sensing trouble, Reaper jumped onto the apron to protest the interference, drawing attention from both John Cole and Max Montana. Montana took a wild swing at Reaper, but missed, causing Reaper to drop back to the floor. The chaos outside the ring was reaching a boiling point.

Having had enough of the outside antics, John Cole ejected both Leon Graves and Reaper from ringside, sending them to the back and restoring order to the match. The crowd erupted in cheers as Cole showed he was done with the night’s nonsense.

Aaron Luthor Secures the Victory

With the distractions removed, the focus returned to the two men in the ring. Aaron Luthor wasted no time capitalizing on the situation. As soon as Max Montana turned his attention back to the match, Luthor struck with precision and power, quickly taking him down.

With Montana grounded, Luthor executed a thunderous slam and covered him for the pin. The referee counted to three, and Aaron Luthor emerged victorious, securing a clean win despite the earlier interference.

What’s Next for Luthor?

With this victory, Aaron Luthor continues to solidify his reputation as not just a tag team champion, but a legitimate singles competitor as well. His ability to overcome interference and chaos showcased his grit and determination, hallmarks of a future singles champion.

Meanwhile, Max Montana and Leon Graves may need to reevaluate their strategy if they hope to make a similar impact in singles competition. For now, the night belongs to Aaron Luthor, who is making it clear that his ambitions extend far beyond the tag team division.

As IWRA Storm rolls on, it’s only a matter of time before Luthor gets the attention of top-tier competitors in the singles ranks. Could a shot at singles gold be on the horizon? Stay tuned!
