Isaiah v Scorpion 29/11/24

Isaiah Jacobs Fights for Justice, Chaos Ensues

IWRA Forge kicked off with high drama as the highly anticipated match between Scorpion and the current Forge Men’s Champion, Luke Austin, was abruptly canceled. After suffering a vicious acid attack from Scorpion last week, which left him with potential eye damage, Luke was determined to compete despite doctors’ orders to stay out of the ring. But in a surprising twist, Isaiah Jacobs—the man who feels the Forge title should be his—stepped up to take Luke’s place, igniting a chaotic and unpredictable night.

A Champion Sidelined, A Contender Steps Up

Luke Austin’s desire to defend his title and confront Scorpion showcased his fighting spirit, but it was Isaiah Jacobs who took the microphone and made his case.

“You can’t even see, Luke. You shouldn’t be out here. Besides, if the ref had been doing his job at Reckoning, I’d be standing here as the Forge Men’s Champion. I should have had my shot against Razor, not you!”

Isaiah’s words echoed the sentiments of many fans who still question the controversial finish to the Elimination Chamber match at Reckoning, where the referee missed a critical five-second pin on Luke Austin while counting another fall.

With Luke reluctantly stepping aside on orders from GM Terri Bowlin, Isaiah Jacobs took to the ring to face Scorpion, who entered with the looming presence of Razor of Doom, the former Forge Champion and leader of the Doom faction.

Isaiah Jacobs vs. Scorpion: A Battle for Control

The match began with Scorpion exploding out of the corner, unleashing a flurry of strikes and forcing Isaiah into the turnbuckles. Scorpion’s brutal tactics were on full display as he attempted to dislocate Isaiah’s arm in a vicious submission hold.

But Isaiah, driven by a sense of injustice and his desire to prove himself, fought back. He pounded Scorpion with a series of punches and lifted him off the mat with sheer force, throwing him across the ring. Two pin attempts followed, but Scorpion, ever the resilient opportunist, kicked out both times.

The Acid Attack… Again

In a moment that sent shockwaves through the crowd, Scorpion once again resorted to his signature acid spit, aiming for Isaiah’s face. Despite this blatant foul, John Cole, the referee, failed to catch the act. However, Isaiah, showing remarkable resilience, shrugged off the attack and quickly regained control.

With momentum back in his favor, Isaiah unleashed a devastating DDT, followed by an impressive hurricanrana, driving Scorpion into the mat. With the crowd firmly behind him, Isaiah covered Scorpion for the three-count, securing a well-deserved victory.

Chaos Erupts: Jack Skinner Confronts Doom

Before Isaiah could celebrate, the arena erupted as Jack Skinner, a former member of Doom, stormed into the ring. The tension between Skinner and Scorpion had been brewing ever since Skinner left the faction, and tonight, it exploded.

Jack wasted no time, dragging Scorpion to the mat and delivering a beating that had been a long time coming. But before the situation could escalate further, Razor of Doom entered the fray, turning the tide.

With Scorpion down, Razor turned his attention to Jack Skinner, and the two former allies-turned-rivals began trading blows in a ferocious display of animosity. As the punches flew, Isaiah Jacobs, sitting on the turnbuckles and enjoying the spectacle, couldn’t resist getting involved.

Isaiah leaped into the chaos, attempting to take down both Razor and Jack Skinner. For a brief moment, it looked like Isaiah might gain control of the situation, but Razor’s sheer power proved too much. The former Forge Champion grabbed Isaiah and tossed him from the ring with authority.

Razor vs. Jack Skinner: A Standoff for the Ages

With Isaiah out of the picture, the ring belonged to Razor and Jack Skinner. The two men stood face-to-face, neither backing down, their eyes locked in a tense stare-off. The crowd erupted in anticipation, knowing that these two titans are on a collision course that could reshape the Forge division.

As the tension lingered, the show ended with the question on everyone’s mind: What’s next for Razor and Jack Skinner?

What’s Next for Forge?

Tonight’s events leave the Forge division in a state of uncertainty:

  • Isaiah Jacobs has proven himself once again, but will his victory over Scorpion earn him a rematch for the Forge Men’s Championship?
  • Luke Austin remains sidelined, but how long can the champion stay away from the ring with so many challengers vying for his title?
  • And with Razor and Jack Skinner poised for an inevitable showdown, will Doom implode from within, or will Razor reassert his dominance over the division?

One thing is certain—Forge is heating up, and the road to the next IWRA pay-per-view promises to be as unpredictable as ever. Stay tuned for more action, drama, and surprises!
