Alex Drake v Omar Kareem 07/03/25

Mayhem Erupts as Alex Drake vs. Omar Kareem Ends in Chaos

The IWRA Forge Men’s Championship was on the line in the highly anticipated main event as Alex Drake defended his newly won title against Omar Kareem. With both men coming off major victories last week—Alex dethroning Isaiah Jacobs and Omar earning his shot through a hard-fought fatal four-way—the stage was set for a monumental battle. However, the night would descend into absolute bedlam before a decisive winner could be crowned.

Isaiah Jacobs Arrives to Make His Presence Felt

Before the bell even rang, the match was already mired in controversy. As the champion and challenger stood in the ring, Isaiah Jacobs’ music hit, sending a murmur through the crowd. The former champion, still seething from his loss, made his way down the ramp, eyes locked onto Alex Drake. Without saying a word, he settled into a chair at ringside near the announce table, making it clear he wasn’t going to let this match go unnoticed.

Isaiah’s presence alone added a new layer of tension to an already explosive encounter.

Omar Kareem’s Early Dominance

As the match officially began, Omar wasted no time. Exploding out of his corner, he launched himself at Alex, delivering a brutal dropkick to the champion’s knees that sent him crashing to the mat. Omar continued his aggressive assault, stomping down on Drake before delivering a pinpoint dropkick to the side of his head.

With Alex reeling, Omar locked him in a submission hold, twisting the champion’s legs in a painful stretch. But the resilience of Alex Drake was on full display as he fought free and rolled out of the ring, desperate for a breather.

Omar, unwilling to give his opponent any room to recover, followed him to the outside. However, this proved to be a mistake, as Alex countered, striking Omar and briefly taking control. Omar managed to escape Drake’s grasp and slide back into the ring, but the moment he turned around, Alex was already back in action.

Back-and-Forth Action Until the Chaos Begins

Alex attempted a spear, but Omar countered it mid-motion, driving him face-first into the mat with a thunderous DDT. Wasting no time, Omar hooked the leg for the pin, but the champion kicked out just before the three-count.

Looking to turn the tides, Alex dragged Omar toward the ropes and unleashed a series of devastating kicks and stiff strikes. He then executed a picture-perfect neck-breaker, finally gaining the upper hand. With Omar on the mat, Alex attempted a cover, but Omar proved his resilience by kicking out once again.

Seeing his opponent still struggling to recover, Alex climbed the turnbuckles, preparing to put Omar away for good. But just as he prepared to leap—the arena was rocked by the sudden entrance of Will Oxley.

Outside Interference and Total Anarchy

As Oxley’s music blared, Alex’s focus shifted. He climbed down from the top rope, eyes locked on the approaching threat. Sliding out of the ring, he moved to confront Oxley, but the moment he got close, Will exploded forward with a devastating spear, driving Alex spine-first into the edge of the ring.

Alex, unwilling to be taken out so easily, fought back, landing a powerful punch that sent Will sprawling to the floor. But as the champion turned around, he came face to face with Isaiah Jacobs.

The tension reached a boiling point as Isaiah stood toe-to-toe with Alex. Before anything could happen, Will Oxley recovered and charged in for another attack—but Alex dodged out of the way, causing Will to crash straight into Isaiah Jacobs, sending them both tumbling to the floor.

Seeing the chaos outside, Omar Kareem tried to refocus on the match, but just as he turned to reengage with Alex, Brandon Colt stormed into the ring.

Like a wrecking ball, Colt tore through both men, flattening Omar before turning his attention to Alex Drake. The champion fought back, but the fresh and unhinged Colt battered him into the ropes, causing the referee, John Cole, to attempt to intervene.

However, John Cole wanted no part of Colt’s fury and quickly bailed. With no one to stop him, Colt continued his rampage, delivering punishing strikes to both competitors before finally exiting, leaving behind a ring of destruction.

No Winner, No Closure—Only More Questions

With all hell breaking loose, the match ended by disqualification, leaving the Forge Men’s Championship match unresolved. Alex Drake, Omar Kareem, Isaiah Jacobs, Will Oxley, and now Brandon Colt are all tangled in a volatile web of grudges and championship aspirations.

As the show went off the air, one thing was clear—this war is far from over, and the Forge Men’s Championship has never been in a more chaotic state.
