Jenna Ortiz Shuts Down Doubts with a Victory Over Becca Snow on IWRA Forge
Two weeks ago, the Dream Team successfully defended their IWRA Women’s Tag Team Championships against Hit Row, but the aftermath of that match left more questions than answers. The champions openly wondered if Jenna Ortiz had truly been fighting at her best, as she seemed hesitant during the match, tagging out frequently and staying on the sidelines. Their concern was met with Jenna’s anger, as she refused to let her passion for competition be questioned.
Now, on the latest episode of IWRA Forge, Ortiz had a chance to prove herself as she faced Becca Snow in a one-on-one contest. What followed was an intense, hard-hitting match that left no doubt about Jenna’s fighting spirit.
Jenna Comes Out Swinging
The bell had barely rung before Jenna Ortiz exploded into action, charging straight at Becca Snow with a series of punishing kicks. Wasting no time, she whipped Becca into the turnbuckles and launched herself at her opponent, landing a brutal leg strike that sent Becca collapsing to the mat. Keeping up the pressure, Jenna springboarded off the ropes and landed a splash before going for an early pin attempt. Becca, however, managed to kick out, proving why she and her partner remain undefeated as champions.
Becca Turns the Tide
Jenna looked to continue her dominance by climbing to the top rope. As Becca rose to her feet, Ortiz launched into a missile dropkick, landing squarely on target. But despite the high-energy offense, Becca found a way back into the match, countering Jenna’s next move with a precise Russian leg sweep, followed by a textbook suplex. Just as the momentum seemed to shift, Jenna quickly responded, driving her knee into Becca’s midsection and whipping her into the ropes. Jenna attempted a spear, but Becca dodged, seizing the opportunity to take her down with a hurricanrana.
A Battle of Resilience
Neither competitor was willing to stay down for long. Jenna rebounded with a sling blade and immediately went for another pin attempt, but Becca once again kicked out. Frustration mounting, Jenna aimed a sharp kick at Becca’s head, only for Becca to catch her leg and counter, sending Ortiz crashing to the mat. Becca attempted a pin of her own, but Jenna proved just as resilient, forcing the match to continue.
The fight soon spilled outside the ring, with both women exchanging blows in an all-out brawl. Jenna, determined to make a statement, regained control and dragged Becca back into the ring. A perfectly executed dropkick sent Becca reeling, and Jenna followed up by showcasing her power, lifting Becca into a German suplex that had the crowd roaring.
Jenna Closes the Match
As Becca struggled to her feet, Jenna smirked and pulled her into a submission hold, looking to force the champion to tap. Becca, refusing to give in, powered through and slammed Jenna onto the mat, breaking free. But Ortiz wasn’t finished—she capitalized on Becca’s exhaustion, delivering blow after blow before tossing her back into the ring and sealing the match with a decisive pinfall.
Chaos Unfolds
As Jenna celebrated her victory, the unexpected happened—the music of the GateCrashers blared through the arena as Anne-Marie Kelly and Amy Johnson made their way to the ring. But before they could reach the squared circle, they were blindsided by the Syndicate. Sarah Bowers and Emily Bowlin stood tall over their fallen rivals, sending a clear message to the entire women’s tag team division.
Jenna and Becca, exhausted from their battle, left the ring, letting the two teams tear into each other as IWRA Forge descended into chaos.
The Syndicate vs. The GateCrashers
Emily Bowlin climbed into the ring while Amy Johnson staggered to her feet. Emily took a swing at Anne-Marie Kelly, who was standing on the ring apron, but Anne-Marie retaliated with a stiff punch of her own. Emily turned her focus to Amy, shoving her into the Syndicate’s corner and attempting to tie her arm up in the ropes. However, Amy fought back, landing a series of punches to free herself before countering with a devastating facebuster that sent Emily stumbling backward.
Amy tagged in Anne-Marie, but her momentum was quickly halted as Emily hit a well-timed dropkick. Sensing an opportunity, she tagged in her partner, Sarah Bowers, who immediately took control. Sarah outwrestled Anne-Marie, taking her down with a swinging neckbreaker before unloading a relentless series of moves. Just as it seemed like the Syndicate had the match in hand, Anne-Marie reversed a swing and speared Sarah into the turnbuckles.
Anne-Marie tagged in Amy Johnson, who dominated for several minutes, taking down Sarah with powerful slams and high-impact strikes. She attempted a pin, but Emily rushed in to break it up. Still in control, Amy taunted the crowd, playing up the GateCrashers’ confidence. However, the distraction cost her dearly—Sarah countered with a hurricanrana, flipping the momentum in favor of the Syndicate.
Sarah tagged Emily back in, but Amy quickly regained control, flooring Emily with a hard takedown before tagging Anne-Marie back into the match. Anne-Marie seized the advantage, slamming Emily into the GateCrashers’ corner before climbing to the top rope and delivering a crushing superplex that sent shockwaves through the ring.
Emily, struggling to recover, crawled to her corner and made a desperate tag to Sarah Bowers. But Anne-Marie was ready—she charged at Sarah, taking her down before turning her attention back to Emily. Sensing the danger, Emily rolled out of the ring, leaving Sarah to fend for herself.
Anne-Marie tried to seal the victory, whipping Sarah into the GateCrashers’ corner, but Sarah kicked out of a pin attempt just in time. The tide quickly shifted when Sarah and Anne-Marie locked up again, with Sarah managing to take control. She dragged Anne-Marie to the ropes and tagged in Emily, who unleashed a brutal back drop followed by a leg drop.
With Anne-Marie weakened, Emily went for the cover, and before Amy Johnson could break it up, Sarah Bowers ran interference, securing the win for the Syndicate.
The victory cemented the Syndicate’s growing dominance in the division, proving that they were a serious threat to any team standing in their way. But with tensions escalating between them and the GateCrashers, the battle for control of the women’s tag team scene is far from over.
