A Tables Match for the Ages
The long-standing feud between The OC and Power and Glory reached its peak at Armageddon with a brutal tables match. Ever since The OC won a title shot at Frostbite in a chaotic tag fatal four-way, Power and Glory have felt robbed, blaming referee John Cole for missing Eliott Pierce’s pin while catching Tucker Warren’s pin on Greg Flynn just seconds later. Tonight, however, there would be no referee controversy—this match required no pinfalls, no submissions, just destruction. The first team to put both of their opponents through tables twice would walk away victorious.
The moment the bell rang, chaos erupted. Nate Adams immediately went after Eliott Pierce, while Tucker Warren squared off against Greg Flynn. Tucker gained an early advantage, whipping Greg into the turnbuckles and levelling him with a devastating elbow. Meanwhile, Eliott took down Nate with a perfectly executed dropkick. Wasting no time, Tucker rolled out of the ring to retrieve the first table, but Eliott quickly pursued, grabbing him from behind. Tucker fought him off with a sharp elbow to the ribs, while in the ring, Nate and Greg continued their intense struggle.
Nate was the first to slide a table into the ring, but Greg swiftly attacked him, forcing him to drop it before it could be set up. Outside, Eliott punished Tucker before retrieving a table of his own and sliding it inside. Tucker managed to throw Eliott into the ring before he could capitalize, allowing himself a brief moment to recover. With both teams struggling for control, every attempt to set up a table was met with an interruption—until Eliott finally succeeded while Nate Adams was recovering outside the ring and Greg was keeping Tucker occupied. Seizing the opportunity, Greg whipped Tucker toward the table and delivered a punishing suplex, sending him crashing through the wood. Power and Glory took the first point in the best-of-three contest.
The OC, however, refused to back down. With anger fuelling his actions, Nate Adams grabbed a steel chair and hurled it at Eliott, cutting his forehead open. Meanwhile, Greg re-entered the ring and set up another table, but the war raged on. When all four men found themselves back inside the squared circle, Nate Adams turned the tide with an enormous powerbomb, smashing Eliott through a table and evening the score.
With one point each, both teams pushed their limits, attempting to set up tables only to be thwarted at every turn. The near misses and desperate struggles heightened the tension until the final, decisive moment. With incredible strength, Eliott Pierce hoisted Tucker Warren into the air and delivered a thunderous powerbomb through a table, sealing the victory for Power and Glory.
As the bell rang, Power and Glory stood tall, finally vindicated after weeks of frustration. Though they had settled their score in the ring, the animosity between these two teams remains palpable. With Power and Glory emerging victorious, one question lingers—will The OC let this loss slide, or is the war far from over?
